November 16, 2025

Greetings Parkland Boys Lacrosse families.  Apologies in advance for the lengthy e-mail, but we have a number of items to update you on this week.  Here is our update for the week of November 16th – 23rd.

  • Play Day for Riv Fundraisers – Mark your calendars!  Our varsity team will be participating in a play day hosted by Holy Ghost Prep (Bensalem, PA) on Saturday, December 13th.  The event has been organized to raise funds for an area youth player whose family is battling brain cancer.  All proceeds from the event will go directly to the family.  To further support this family, we plan to hold a Dine & Donate on December 14th at PJ Whelihan’s (Broadway location) where 100% of the proceeds raised will be donated to the family.  A GoFundMe has also been established for the family which can be accessed here.  We are asking everyone to consider making a donation.  If you would prefer to make your donation through the Booster Club, please Venmo (@PBLBC-PBLBC) your donation with a memo stating your donation towards this cause.  Our Treasurer will make a donation to the family on behalf of the organization for any funds collected through Venmo.  This is a great opportunity for the lacrosse community to come together to support an area family in need, especially during the holiday season!

  • Giving Bean Winter Fundraiser – Giving Bean is a specialty roaster featuring fresh, small batch coffee and handcrafted teas.  The fundraiser will run from November 23rd – December 7th.  The team will receive 40% of all funds raised through this fundraising effort.  Orders will be delivered 7-14 days after we close the store.  Should you have any questions, please see the detailed communication sent by Rob Wetmore through TeamSnap or you can reach out to him directly regarding this fundraising effort.  How it works:
General Order Form Access for Parkland High School Boys Lacrosse – Accepts Credit Cards, PayPal, or Cash. Share the link with LOCAL supporters!  Again, LOCAL ORDERS ONLY – We’ll deliver all order form purchases.
GET YOUR SELLER ID# HERE - Your Seller ID# includes a unique order form link and QR code (sent upon creation). Share your link or QR code with local friends and neighbors to boost orders!

  • Box Lacrosse – Preliminary schedules are now posted for our winter box teams (Varsity – Parkland Red / JV – Parkland Silver).  I have attached the current schedules to this communication for your reference.  As a reminder, player registrations have closed.  Fees for the league are $100 per player.  For those who've registered and have not already submitted their player fee, please submit your $100 player registration fee to our Venmo account (@PBLBC-PBLBC) by Sunday, November 30th.  After this time, our Treasurer, John Serratore, will start following up with families regarding the outstanding player fee.

September 21, 2025

Greetings Parkland Boys Lacrosse families.  Similar to last year, I plan to send a weekly communication to families instead of multiple emails during the week, unless we have something urgent to communicate.  The weekly email, while long at times, should provide you with guidance on the week’s events as well as information on registration processes, fees, dine & donates, fundraising activities, team activities, etc..

Here is our PBLBC update for the week of September 21 – 28:

  • Box Lacrosse Registrations – Similar to past years, we plan to enter a JV team and a Varsity team in the St. Lukes Box Lacrosse League in Whitehall.  To register your son, please complete the following registration form by no later than October 15th:  https://forms.gle/6GXHkTGdRxBazddX9

  • Dine & Donate – Thank you to all the families who came out to support our Dine & Donate earlier this month.  We raised ~$350 through the event.  Thanks again!

  • Pampered Chef Fundraiser – Thank you to all the families who participated in our Pampered Chef fundraiser to start the year.  We raised $638.25 through this effort.  Thanks again!!

  • Away Game Meals / Snack Stand Volunteers / Snack Stand Donations - We still have a number of openings for families to sponsor away game meals, and to volunteer in the snack stand.  As a reminder, we are asking all families to do at least one turn in the snack stand this year.  We are also beginning our annual snack stand donations.  All three activities are accessible via the following link:
