Greetings Parkland Boys Lacrosse Booster Club families. We Need Your Help!
The Parkland Boys Lacrosse program is seeking your help and support with our 2024-2025 Sponsorship Campaign. The generous support of sponsors enables our program to invest in activities and events to enhance the overall player experience (i.e., winter practice time, year-end banquet, Fall and Spring play days, videography, media days, food, travel, etc.).
We have several sponsorship opportunities available designed to fit just about any budget. The attached flyer outlines the various levels and benefits sponsors will receive through their support of the program (recognition through social media, advertising at our games, advertising in our annual program, recognition during games, etc.). It also outlines the process for expressing their interest in supporting the program as well as their preferred method of payment (i.e., Venmo or Check).
As you know, it “Takes a Village” to support a program like ours. Please consider reaching out to people you know in local / regional businesses to see if they will consider sponsoring our program for the 2024-2025 academic year. Should you or potential sponsors have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me by leveraging the contact information below.
Thank you in advance for your support and engagement! Go Trojans!
Regards,
Kevin Kelley

Greetings Parkland Boy’s Lacrosse Families,
On behalf of the Parkland High School Boy’s Lacrosse Booster Club (PBLBC), and its officers, I would like to welcome back the 2025, 2026, and 2027 parents to the PBLBC and welcome parents of the incoming Class of 2028 players. I will be serving as President this year, with Anne Finnegan serving as Vice-President, Andy Fehnel serving as Secretary, and Jenn Afif serving as Treasurer. We are encouraging all families to participate in upcoming booster club meetings and activities to support the team and create a great experience for everyone in the program.
Please read this email in its entirety. This will (likely) be the longest email you receive all season from the booster club.
Purpose of the Parkland Boys Lacrosse Booster Club (PBLBC)
The purpose of the Parkland Boys Lacrosse Booster Club is to support, encourage, and advance the boys lacrosse program and to promote projects to improve facilities and equipment necessary to enhance the lacrosse program. We look forward to working with Coach Arezzi and his coaching staff this season in support of this purpose.
Booster Club Meetings
Booster club meetings will occur on the third Wednesday of every month from September to June. The first booster club meeting for the school year will be Wednesday, September 18th at 7:30pm. Please save the date on your calendars! A Teams invitation with dialin instructions will be provided the week prior. We are encouraging all families to attend so you can learn about the upcoming season, obtain status on current initiatives (i.e., snack stand, fundraising, volunteering, fall ball, box lacrosse, apparel sales, etc..), and get involved. Meeting minutes will be saved to the Parkland Lacrosse web site accessible here.
Volunteer Opportunities
The booster club needs parent volunteers to lead specific efforts and initiatives throughout the season. We will discuss these activities at future meetings. Parents who led activities last year will be given an opportunity to take on their leadership role again this season. That being said, we will certainly need additional volunteers to lead and/or participate in activities and/or events throughout the season (i.e., Youth Night, Senior Night, snack stand, end-of-season video, fundraisers, team meals, etc.). If you are interested in leading any of these initiatives, please send me an email or give me a call or text to discuss further. Thank you in advance!
Future Communications
If your son does not plan to try out for the program this coming spring, and you would like to be removed from future PBLBC communications, please reply to this email and let me know. Similarly, if you would like to add a different email address to this distribution list, please let me know.
Freshman Parent Orientation
As highlighted by Coach Arezzi’s recent communications, the first practice of the Fall is scheduled for this coming Wednesday, September 4th from 5:30-7:00. We will hold a Freshman Parent Orientation from 6:30-7:00pm that night adjacent to the grass field (where they're holding practice) which is opposite the Parkland turf field on campus. All Freshman parents (and new parents to Parkland lacrosse) are highly encouraged to attend to learn more about the program, opportunities to get involved, etc. The board looks forward to meeting you on Wednesday!
Wrap Up
It truly takes a village to support the Parkland lacrosse program. Please look for opportunities to get involved. Let’s make this year an amazing experience for our boys, coaches and all families involved in Parkland lacrosse. Go Trojans!
Regards,
Kevin Kelley

May 10, 2024
Greetings Parkland Boys Lacrosse families. Our next monthly board meeting is scheduled for May 15, 2024.
On Saturday, May 18th (rain date May 19th), Parkland Lacrosse Club (formerly SPYA) is hosting the annual Battle of the Valley for the Lehigh Valley Youth Lacrosse League. This year’s event will be held at Grange Park and will host more than 120 teams from across the valley competing for championships in their various age groups.
The Parkland Boys and Girls High School lacrosse teams are huge benefactors of this event as a large portion of the profits will go towards our respective programs to be used in alignment with our mission and goal of enhancing the Parkland HS lacrosse player experience.
To make this event a success, we need your help! In the SignUpGenius below, players and parents can sign up for a variety of roles. Some are designed specifically for adults, while others can be filled by either adults or players. Here are the types of roles they need to fill:
(Friday, 5/17) Field Setup – Hang banners, put up nets & backstops, etc.
(Saturday, 5/18) Parent Volunteers – Help run concessions, parking, T-Shirt sales, help with field breakdown
(Saturday, 5/18) Player Volunteers – Run scorer’s tables during the games, help with field breakdown
We are asking ALL Parkland boys lacrosse players to sign up for the Time/Score Keeper roles. We are also asking all parents to consider donating some of their time to help make this year’s event a success. Please note, roles have been broken into shifts, so you can choose to support a 3–4-hour shift, or you can sign up for the whole day. Either way, your support is greatly appreciated! “It Takes a Village” to pull something like this together. Thank you in advance for your support!

They are looking for volunteers to help set up the event during the afternoons of May 3rd & 4th as well as volunteers during the event itself. Greetings Parkland Boys Lacrosse Families. Apologies in advance for the length of this email.
Prior to the official start to the 2024 season, Coach Arezzi and the PBLBC booster club will distribute uniforms, which includes the Parkland provided helmet. Per Parkland's policy, all Parkland issued helmets are to be used during the spring season and then returned at the conclusion of the season to avoid issues with recertification and liability.
That being said, a number of families have expressed interest in purchasing a Parkland helmet so their son can use it over the summer/fall with their club teams and for attending various player showcases. I'm happy to report we've negotiated an incredible deal with Cascade Lacrosse whereby you can now purchase a Parkland helmet for $245 versus their typical retail price of $360. This is a huge savings off of MSRP and we are guaranteed pricing regardless of the number of helmets we order. Here are the helmet details:
-
Helmet - Cascade XRS Pro
-
Shell - White
-
Chin & Washer - Red-187C
-
Jawbone - Grey-424C
-
Mask - Pearl White
-
Chin Strap - Red-187C
You can purchase the helmet through our Parkland store over the next two weeks. Effective February 1st, the store will close. Once the store closes, we should receive helmets a few weeks following. Similar to the fall apparel order, they will be shipped to me and we will distribute at an upcoming practice.
Please access the store to place your order here:
https://shop.allusportswear.com/collections/parkland-lacrosse
Please note, you will need to order the Parkland helmet stickers separately. You can purchase them through Laxdecalz here:

Greetings Parkland Boys Lacrosse Families. Our Fall apparel store is now open for orders through Tuesday, October 31st. Please note, this is a hard store close date by the vendor.
The store can be accessed through the following link: https://shop.allusportswear.com/collections/parkland-hs-boys-lacrosse
Expected delivery for all items, with the exception of our custom gloves, is four (4) weeks. We expect delivery for the gloves in late February / early March based on lead times with the supplier. Please note that gloves and several other items have a minimum order quantity of 12, so if that number is not met, the vendor will remove that item from any orders.
For delivery of the apparel, the Booster Club plans to pick up orders from the vendor and schedule a pickup date for families in the Parkland community (likely at the lacrosse stadium). This date and time will be established / communicated closer to delivery.
Please feel free to share the above link with anyone who may have an interest in Parkland lacrosse apparel/gear.
Should you have any questions, please let me know.

Kevin Kelley
