Meet the New Leader of Parkland Boys' Lacrosse: Scott Ketcham

Parkland High School is thrilled to officially welcome Scott Ketcham as the Head Coach of the Boys’ Lacrosse program. Hired in July 2025, Ketcham brings a championship pedigree and a deep-rooted passion for the sport to the Trojans.

As he steps into the 2025-26 campaign, Ketcham inherits a talented squad that finished last season with an impressive 16-5 record. His goal? To take that existing talent and elevate it to an elite level.

A Proven Track Record in the Lehigh Valley

Coach Ketcham is a familiar face to local lacrosse fans. Before joining the Parkland family, he spent six highly successful years at rival Emmaus High School.

  • Championship Culture: Led the Green Hornets to three District XI championships (2013–2015) and a Lehigh Valley Conference title in 2012.

  • Coach of the Year: Named the lehighvalleylive Boys Lacrosse Coach of the Year in 2015.

  • Education First: Beyond the sidelines, Ketcham is a dedicated educator, having served as a teacher within the East Penn School District.

"There's not a ton of overhauling that needs change. I’m looking forward to putting a slight spin on an already talented group of student-athletes and building an elite level of lacrosse both here and beyond." — Coach Scott Ketcham

Playing Experience

Ketcham’s coaching philosophy is backed by a stellar career as a player at both the high school and collegiate levels:

Garden City High School (NY)

  • 1994 New York State Champion.

  • Team MVP in 1995.

Hampden-Sydney College (VA)

  • Two-time USILA All-American goalie.

  • Two-time All-Conference member (ODAC).

  • Led the Tigers to consecutive NCAA Division III quarterfinal appearances.

  •

Looking Ahead to 2026

With Parkland expected to be a top contender for East Penn and District XI honors this year, Ketcham is focused on continuity and growth. We are also pleased to announce that interim head coach Cory Andrews will remain with the program as an assistant coach, ensuring a smooth transition for our student-athletes.

Welcome to the Trojan Family, Coach Ketcham!
