Parkland Boys Lacrosse upends Easton for golden breakthrough in District XI Final
According to a report by LehighLalleyLive.com | Updated: May. 23, 2026, 8:22 a.m. | Published: May. 23, 2026, 8:10 a.m.
The string of silver has stopped for Parkland High School’s boys lacrosse team.
The second-seeded Trojans knocked off top-seeded Easton 10-6 during the District 11 Class 3A final on Friday night at Lehigh University’s Ulrich Sports Complex.
The win gives Parkland its first district championship since 2018. Entering Friday, the Trojans had lost in the last three D-11 finals, including against Easton in 2024 and 2025.
The familiarity of the setting and the opponent led attackman Danny Tapia to paraphrase Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” after receiving his gold medal.
“We knew our opponent, and we knew ourselves. With that information, that’s all you really need,” the senior said.
Future is Bright!
